With its latest Smart TV X collection, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi introduced smart televisions in India. The Redmi Smart TV X65, Smart TV X55, and Smart TV X50 are part of the Redmi Smart TV collection. The Redmi Smart TV X will be available in three sizes: 65, 55, and 50 inches, with support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio on all three.
The Redmi Smart TV X series features 4K HDR and Dolby Vision, as well as HDR 10+ support. The audio output is 30W with support for DTS Virtual: X, DTS-HD, Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos Pass through via e-ARC. It has a 64-bit quad-core A55 CPU and Mali G52 MP2 GPU, as well as 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The TVs come with Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI and run on Android 10 out of the box.
A dedicated button for Google Assistant, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video is also included on the TV. Chromecast is also built-in. Three HDMI 2.1 ports, one eARC, two USB ports, one Optical port, and one 3.5mm headphone jack port are available on the Redmi TV. Bluetooth 5.0 and Dual Band WiFi are also supported.
The 50-inch Redmi Smart TV X series costs Rs 32,999, the 55-inch model costs Rs 38,999, and the 65-inch model costs Rs 57,999. From March 26 at 12 p.m., Amazon and Mi.com, Mi Home, and Mi Studios will sell the new Smart TV X collection, which will also be available in offline retail stores later.
