German carmaker Audi has finally launched its long-awaited sporty and powerful four-door saloon car, the S5 Sportback in India, at a starting price of Rs 79.06 lakh (ex-showroom). Turbo Blue, Daytona Grey, and Tango Red are among the eight paint colours available for the car.
The 3.0 TFSI V6 petrol engine in the Audi S5 Sportback produces 354 horsepower and 500 Nm of peak torque. The car will accelerate from a standstill to 100 kilometres per hour in less than 4.8 seconds. The Audi S5 Sportback has a maximum speed of 250 kilometres per hour. There are five driving modes available in the car: Dynamic, Comfort, Performance, Auto, and Person. The vehicle is equipped with a start-stop feature that can be turned off with a press. The vehicle is equipped with a permanent all-wheel drive system, known as quattro.
The interior of the car is completely black, which complements the exterior design of the Sportback. The consumer is kept engaged and amused by a 10-inch floating touchscreen. A 12.2-inch digital MID screen is also available for the driver, who is protected by a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel emblazoned with the S badge. The Audi sound system comes standard, but you can upgrade to a Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound system with 19 speakers and a maximum output of 755W.
