Skoda Kushaq SUV Unveiled in India in Five Color options

Skoda has finally revealed the much-anticipated Kushaq mid-size SUV in India, which will compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The car was first shown as a Vision IN concept at the 2020 Auto Show. 

The new Skoda Kushaq features a large butterfly grille, sleek LED headlamps, LED DRLs, trapezoidal LED fog lamps, front skid plate, flared wheel arches, and 17-inch alloy wheels, among other features. The SUV has a chiselled boot lid, L-shaped tail lights, and a chiselled tailgate with SKODA lettering, among other features.

Hill-hold assist, six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, multi-collision braking, TPMS, rear parking sensors, rearview camera, ISOFIX infant seat anchorages, and more are included in the SUV’s safety features.

A pair of TSI petrol engines power the Skoda Kushaq. A 1.0-litre engine producing 113 horsepower and mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre TSI engine, which was borrowed from Karoq, produces 148 horsepower and comes with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.

The Skoda Kushaq has a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre of the dashboard (a seven-inch screen is available on lower trims). Other features include ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, ambient lighting, a six-speaker sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the MySkoda Connect suite, cruise control, and more.
